Shopbop Redesign

My teams worked cross-functionally (with their Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing partners) to redesign key parts of the Shopbop customer experience:

Homepage redesign: This new format allows Shopbop to better communicate it's fashion point of view, through a combination of editorial features, trend placements, occasion-based product assortments, and product-level shopping.

Desktop navigation mega-menus: Increasing the menu real estate allowed the Merchandising team more options to present product assortments in different ways, which led to increased engagement, conversion, and revenue.

Enhanced product listing page: Updated the product presentation, from styling and posing to photography and backgrounds. Introduced personalized product recommendations that have proven successful (positive engagement and revenue metrics).

Redesigned product detail page: Informed by user research which uncovered pain points and shortcomings and highlighted opportunities to better serve our customer, the UX team redesigned the product detail page, including bigger product images, an enlarged image viewer to show product details, progressive disclosure of product information, and enhanced cross-sell placements.

Enhanced shopping bag and streamlined checkout flow: Added personalized product recommendations when adding a product to your cart, and optimized design and layout of checkout pages to improve usability and conversion.
